As Black Ether completes its 20th year, we return to our chilled enigmatic roots for our 9th offering. Written and recorded during the height of the pandemic in New York City, the creative process became a means to deal with our altered reality in much the same way the formation of Black Ether got me through the aftermath of 9/11. These are songs that represent a sense of hope, a profound need to belong, and the ever-present search for the distant call of being that lives in our human hearts. Songs with a sense of beauty to light your way in a world that grows darker by the day.
